Al-Hawila: Multi-purpose halls for citizens

Kuwait’s Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, Dr. Amthal Al-Hawila, announced yesterday the opening of reservations for 28 wedding halls for events in 2027 and 2028, through the Dar Al-Munasabat and Sahel applications. She explained that reservations are opened according to a phased schedule aligned with the halls’ readiness, ensuring their inclusion in the reservation system as soon as operational requirements are met, while maintaining a balance between providing available dates and preserving the quality of facilities and the safety of visitors.

She noted that the ministry is simultaneously working to incorporate several multi-purpose halls into its service facilities network in the coming period, aiming to meet citizens’ needs across various governorates and expand the options available to them.

Al-Hawila highlighted that development and rehabilitation works continue in several wedding halls to enhance their operational efficiency and increase their capacity, in line with rising demand during upcoming seasons. She clarified that technical teams continuously monitor the stages of maintenance work and conduct necessary technical assessments before approving any hall’s readiness and adding it to the available schedules, thereby reinforcing quality and safety standards.

She added that centralizing reservations through the electronic system enables citizens to view available dates and complete booking procedures easily and conveniently, as part of the ministry’s direction toward developing its digital services and elevating the level of government services.
