Azerbaijan and Armenia Discuss Implementation of the “Trump Route”

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the practical implementation of the Trump International Peace and Prosperity Roadmap during a phone call. A statement from the Azerbaijani presidency said: “The two sides exchanged views on the practical implementation of the Trump International Peace and Prosperity Roadmap on the first anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit, held on August 8, 2025, with the support of US President Donald Trump.” It added: “The development of commercial and economic relations between the two countries was emphasized as clear evidence of the benefits of peace.”
