Opening of the New Headquarters of the “Diwaniya of Culture and Arts” in Riyadh

The Saudi Arabian Association for Culture and Arts inaugurated the new headquarters of the “Culture and Arts Diwaniya” at the association’s premises in the capital city of Riyadh, in the presence of a number of honorary members, artists, intellectuals, and media personalities. This step aims to strengthen the Diwaniya’s position as a cultural and social platform that fosters communication between creators and those interested in cultural affairs.
The “Culture and Arts Diwaniya” is one of the association’s prominent cultural initiatives, seeking to provide a sustainable space for cultural dialogue, nurture national creative talents, and support distinctive initiatives that enrich the cultural landscape and align with the goals of cultural development and the Kingdom’s Vision.
This move holds exceptional significance as it revives the concept of the “Diwaniya” with a contemporary vision, transforming it into a regular gathering that brings together different creative generations under one roof. The new headquarters offer an opportunity for knowledge exchange among leading figures in art and literature and the emerging generation of youth, contributing to the transfer of knowledge, skill development, and the stimulation of innovative ideas that meet the aspirations of the local artistic scene.
Furthermore, the opening of the new headquarters serves as a practical incubator for launching joint cultural projects, providing intellectuals and artists with a suitable environment to discuss challenges, formulate creative solutions, and produce distinctive works and experiences that enhance the presence of Saudi culture both locally and internationally, while supporting the development of sustainable cultural content.
