Support for Provisions.. Rise of 26.3% by the end of June

Data from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry showed that the subsidy bill for food rations reached 24 million dinars by the end of last June, marking a 26.3% increase compared to 19 million dinars in May. The value of construction materials amounted to 7 million dinars, representing 28% of total disbursed subsidies, with a decrease of 9% compared to May. The number of beneficiaries of food ration subsidies reached approximately 2.39 million by the end of June, while the cumulative number of ration cards stood at around 279,000. The group of basic commodities distributed via ration cards in June totaled approximately 16 million dinars, accounting for 64% of total disbursed subsidies, reflecting a 51% increase over the previous month. Subsidies for milk and infant nutrition reached approximately 2 million dinars, constituting 8% of total disbursed subsidies, with a 34% increase over the previous month.
