Al-Warrah held talks with the Farwaniya Governor to enhance cooperation in community and development initiatives
The Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Adbi Nasser Al-Adbi Al-Sabah, received at his office in the General Secretariat of the Governorate the Chief Executive Officer of Warba Bank, Shahin Hamad Al-Ghanim, accompanied by a delegation from Warba Bank, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in community and developmental fields. The Governor welcomed the Warba Bank delegation, commending the bank’s role in supporting community initiatives and enhancing corporate social responsibility, and emphasizing the importance of integrating efforts between state institutions and the private sector to implement developmental initiatives that contribute to serving society and improving the quality of life in Farwaniya Governorate.
The meeting saw discussions on several topics of mutual interest, foremost among them ways to enhance cooperation in community and developmental initiatives, and a review of ideas and projects that could be implemented in the coming period to support sustainable development goals and consolidate the culture of joint work among various entities to serve society. Both sides also addressed the importance of launching flagship initiatives that contribute to strengthening community participation and supporting various segments, reflecting the vital role played by the banking sector in contributing to development alongside its economic role.
On this occasion, Shahin Hamad Al-Ghanim, Chief Executive Officer of Warba Bank, said: “We are proud of this visit, which reflects the strong relationship between Warba Bank and Farwaniya Governorate, and underscores the importance of joint work with various government entities to achieve sustainable community impact.
