Al-Awad: Enhancing the cooperative sector's services and strengthening its role in Kuwait

Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, and Social Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, reaffirmed her confidence in the appointment of Mariam Al-Awad as Assistant Director of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies. Al-Awad stated that this confidence serves as a motivation to continue working and elevate the cooperative movement in Kuwait. She said that renewing confidence imposes a doubled responsibility on her to exert maximum efforts and work with sincerity and dedication to serve the cooperative sector and enhance its role in supporting society, in line with the state’s aspirations and contributing to the development of the cooperative work system. She added that she will strive to best represent the presidents and members of the cooperative societies, guided by the minister’s directives and her continuous support, which will contribute to achieving further accomplishments that serve the cooperative movement and consolidate its national role. She prayed to God Almighty to grant success to all, to guide their steps toward what benefits and elevates Kuwait, and to perpetuate upon it the blessings of security and stability.
