The Decisive Moment in Assessing the Arab-Zionist Conflict

Here is the American system of governance, with its propagandistic methods and theatrical performances, announcing through its leader that it has succeeded in bringing the Gaza issue to a decisive and successful conclusion, by securing the acceptance of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza to surrender its weapons. And if we know the history and nature of this system’s vices, we must not forget that it is a false, deceitful system, a breaker of promises, and subservient to the desires of global Zionism. Just as the legs of the famous Oslo Accords were dragged for decades without advancing a single step on the issue of Palestinian rights, at their most basic level, we should not be surprised that what President Trump announced—smiling, boasting, and holding his head high—will meet the same fate. That is because the extreme right-wing Zionist meanness will not fail to impose a thousand conditions before implementing this new agreement. The ridiculous, imagined Torah-based Zionist objectives are repeated daily by this madman or that narcissist, and we have memorized them by heart.

From this arises the utmost importance of reminding resistance factions that the Gaza issue will not reach a happy or even reasonable conclusion before Gaza is emptied of its population, more of its people are killed daily, and yellow, red, and black lines are drawn to control the movements of its individuals. And if this is the case in the face of the criminal American-Zionist arrogance, and in the face of the paralysis of the United Nations, the Arab League, the Islamic League, and all global rights forces, then the Arab and Palestinian reaction must begin first and immediately with a comprehensive review of the Palestinian issue as a whole. This entails an evaluative assessment of the following points and activating actions based on that assessment:

First: We need to reconsider the two-state solution and raise the voice of justice and logic, stating that Palestine and its people are victims of a colonial and Zionist conspiracy that began before the English Balfour Declaration and has evolved into current talk about the necessity of annexing parts of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia to the stolen Palestine. Consequently, the answer, after eighty years of the occupation of Palestine, is that it is time to propose the return to a democratic Arab state of Palestine and to reject the conspiracy to steal Palestine from its people in its entirety.

Second: Establish a detailed political and struggle strategy for this first step, which is fundamentally based on the Palestinian people, with all their institutions and individuals, in a single struggle front and a single liberating leadership. This should then be supported by Arab civil society forces financially and through struggle, to make Arab ruling systems support this effort on all levels.

Third: The second step cannot be achieved unless it begins by correcting the Palestinian strategic mistake that allowed the Palestinian liberating struggle to be under multiple Palestinian organizations, and thus under multiple conflicting and warring leaderships. Therefore, it has become imperative for the Palestinian people to unite in every possible way to reject the current Palestinian liberating division among multiple organizations and under multiple leaderships, and to isolate any Palestinian faction that does not join the effort to establish a single, democratic, liberating Palestinian leadership.

Fourth: The Palestinian effort will not succeed if it relies on itself alone. It must seek and unite with Arab liberating and resistant forces and the new global youth forces that are finally beginning to realize that the Zionist entity and Zionism as an ideology are a cancerous disease that will destroy this world if not curbed and stopped. This is a subject that must be considered seriously.

Fifth: In all the previous discussions and actions, there must be a global awareness campaign with the world’s liberating forces, exposing the lie of antisemitism that Zionism promoted to cover its crimes. There must be a sincere call for people of the Jewish faith to join the campaign to restore Palestinian rights and to invalidate the false religious imaginings of the Zionist movement, enabling followers of the Jewish religion to practice their faith rather than being part of a political colonial movement under the name of Zionism. The Jewish religion deserves all respect and equality with other religions, whereas Zionism must be relegated to the ranks and fate of distorted colonial history.
