Al-Yousef: Preparing security leaders capable of bearing responsibility

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, issued two ministerial decrees appointing Major General Hamad Al-Manifi as Deputy Assistant Minister for Public Security Affairs and Major General Fawaz Al-Roumi as Deputy Assistant Minister for Supporting Security Services Affairs. The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef promoted Major General Al-Roumi to the rank of Major General, noting that the issuance of the two ministerial decrees coincided with the issuance of two Amir decrees on Sunday appointing them. The minister congratulated the deputy assistant ministers on earning the trust of the political leadership, wishing them success and prosperity in performing their duties and responsibilities. He affirmed that this confidence embodies the Ministry of Interior’s approach to valuing national competencies and serves as an incentive for all leaders and members of the security institution to continue their dedication, excellence, and loyalty in fulfilling their duties, while consolidating a culture of achievement that contributes to preparing security leaders capable of shouldering responsibility and continuing the path of development. He stressed that the upcoming phase requires continuing to work with a spirit of teamwork, enhancing cooperation and coordination among the ministry’s various sectors, and elevating institutional performance to meet the aspirations of the political leadership, contribute to strengthening the security system, and consolidate security and stability in the country. He emphasized the importance of developing human resources, enhancing a work environment that fosters excellence and creativity, improving institutional performance efficiency, keeping pace with security developments, and implementing the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to enhance the efficiency of the security system and improve its readiness. The ceremony for issuing the two ministerial decrees and conferring the rank was attended by Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab and several security leaders.
