UEFA Boycotts the World Cup

UEFA has decided to boycott the World Cup and other FIFA competitions in protest against plans to sell stakes to external investors in a subsidiary that will manage FIFA tournaments, including the World Cup. Member associations voted unanimously on the decision during an online meeting of 55 UEFA member national associations on Thursday.
