A heinous Iranian aggression targeted a Chinese company building and assassinated a Nepali

The Ministry of Defense announced that the heinous Iranian aggression targeted a building belonging to one of the Chinese companies in the northern part of the country, resulting in the death of one worker and causing serious material damage to the building. The ministry’s official spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, said in a press statement yesterday that the competent authorities immediately began taking the necessary measures and handling the situation in coordination with the relevant entities. He added that the Armed Forces reaffirmed their continued commitment to carrying out their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, and to taking all necessary measures to protect the country’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with the competent authorities, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.

For its part, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait announced that the attack targeting northern Kuwait on Thursday resulted in the death of a Nepali driver working for a subcontractor of a Chinese company, as well as material damage to the company’s site. The embassy, in a statement, confirmed that no Chinese citizens were injured or killed in the incident, noting that it is closely following developments and maintaining contact with the relevant Kuwaiti authorities and the company concerned to monitor the aftermath of the incident and take the necessary measures. It added that it will continue to provide the required consular support to Chinese citizens and companies operating in Kuwait, expressing its condolences to the victim’s family and reaffirming its commitment to the safety of Chinese citizens and the interests of Chinese companies in the country.
