Lebanon thwarts smuggling of 6.5 kilograms of Captagon to Kuwait

The Lebanese Ministry of the Interior announced the seizure of 6.5 kilograms of Captagon tablets, which were being prepared for smuggling into Kuwait via a shipping company, hidden inside children’s beds. The ministry stated that coordination with Kuwait’s General Administration for Combating Narcotics, through the Criminal Security Office at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Lebanon, led to the arrest of one individual involved in Kuwait and the seizure of a quantity of narcotics in his possession.
