Sisi: We stand with Kuwait

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a telephone call yesterday from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. The call reviewed the close and distinctive fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples. During the conversation, the two leaders discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and examined the latest developments on the regional and international fronts, particularly concerning the current circumstances facing the region. President el-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast support for Kuwait and its backing of all measures undertaken to safeguard its security and sovereignty, invoking Almighty God to protect Kuwait and its people from all harm. His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to President el-Sisi, wishing him good health and well-being, and hoping for continued progress and prosperity for the Egyptian people.
