The Gulf: The Greatest Victor!
In 1956, the notorious and most destructive figure, Arab Joseph Goebbels, concocted a recipe for an unprecedented Arab victory among other nations of the world, aiming to replicate our defeats. Within this recipe, the slain, the captive, the fugitive, or the one who squandered land and honor could claim a brilliant victory on the pretext that he endured, in what is termed the “victory of regime resilience.” Consequently, the Arab hero and victor becomes the one whose army was defeated, whose soldiers were killed, and whose land was occupied, simply because he remained in power after the war.
The rosary beads were then turned, and the shameful defeats—labeled as victories under the guise of endurance—repeated, without us learning from their mistakes. The 1967 war was hailed as a brilliant victory because the regimes in Cairo and Damascus did not fall. Yasser Arafat’s defeat in Jordan and Lebanon and his expulsion from both were also celebrated as victories. Wahid al-Boumaar emerged raising the victory sign with his fingers, and the same logic applied to the man behind the slogan “How sweet is victory with God’s help,” referring to Saddam Hussein, after his humiliating defeats in the Battle of the Armies and the Battle of the Scimitars. The same pattern repeated with Hamas and Hezbollah, whose wars destroyed crops and livelihoods, killed thousands, and displaced millions from safe homes into camps of misery and onto the streets.
These days, the same failed recipe is being employed by hired hands and traitors to the homeland to portray Iran—which strikes with the erratic behavior of camels and whose patient, friendly people suffer—as having achieved a brilliant victory through its “endurance” against two countries: Israel, whose land area and population are less than 10% of Iran’s, and the United States, whose population is three times that of Iran. The attacks orchestrated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps regime, which insisted on enriching depleted uranium to high levels and attacked Gulf tankers sailing in Omani territorial waters, have left not a single stone upon another in Iran. The country faces total economic collapse and widespread public discontent with its leadership’s obstinacy, which has caused harm to more than 90% of the population. Nevertheless, the sycophants and hired hands claim that Iran has achieved a brilliant victory through its… endurance!
The final point: I do not understand why traitors to the homeland and pen-pen hired hands, including Gulf Arabs and other Arabs, do not apply the same yardstick of admiration, awe, and applause to the great Gulf victory. Our Gulf countries, even the tiniest among them like Bahrain and Kuwait, have not only demonstrated remarkable endurance against the brutal Iranian aggression. It is well known that Iran’s population and land area exceed those of Bahrain or Kuwait by thousands of times. Yet, through the wisdom and competence of their leaders and the cooperation of their brothers and friends, these Gulf states have maintained a distinguished standard of welfare and living for their citizens during their endurance, while carefully preserving lives and infrastructure. This stands in stark contrast to Iran, its revolutionary movements, and affiliated parties, which rejoice in the abundance of bloodshed, destruction, misery, poverty, and hunger, solely for the sake of false media spectacle.
