Haaretz: Netanyahu is the worst prime minister in Israel's history

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz stated that history would record Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “the worst prime minister in Israel’s history.” The newspaper clarified that “Netanyahu’s failure will not be measured solely by the events of October 7, 2023, but also by the heavy economic price Israel will pay as a result of the repercussions of those events.” It noted that “the unprecedented defense ministry budget, tax increases, cuts to public services, and the worsening public debt will have negative effects on the economy and living standards for many years to come.”
