Trump: Major military punishment will be inflicted on Iran and the Houthis

Riyadh – Washington – Agencies: US President Donald Trump announced in a post on his platform, Truth Social, yesterday that the United States will hold Iran responsible for the Houthi attacks. The US president wrote, “A major military punishment will be inflicted on Iran and the Houthis if these attacks are repeated.”

Earlier, the Saudi General Authority for Transport announced that the vessel Encelia, owned by a Saudi company, was targeted while sailing in the Red Sea, resulting in a fire breaking out at the ship’s bow. The official news agency, SPA, quoted a senior official in the authority as confirming the safety of all crew members, noting that relevant authorities had taken all necessary measures to secure the vessel and its crew and to protect the marine environment. He added that these attacks constitute a violation of international laws and customs that ensure the safety of commercial ships and their crews.
