May God strengthen you

Day by day, Kuwait, through its leadership, government, and people, proves its ability to confront challenges with unwavering resolve and a firm belief that the security and sovereignty of the nation are a red line that admits no compromise. It demonstrates that unity of ranks is the strong, impregnable shield against which the blades of aggressors shatter, and the sharp, decisive sword that severs every hand attempting to harm Kuwait, its people, and its security, safety, and stability.

The missile and drone attacks Kuwait has been subjected to by Iran only strengthen the resolve of its people to protect their homeland and stand as one block behind their leadership and national institutions. Undoubtedly, Iran’s repeated, malicious attempts targeting Kuwait’s vital facilities—such as power and water plants, oil installations, bridges, and other critical infrastructure, which constitute the lifeline of the state—do not weaken the resolve of Kuwaitis. On the contrary, they enhance their solidarity, cohesion, and steadfastness behind their leadership and national institutions, led by the Armed Forces, the Police, the National Guard, and the General Fire Directorate.

Kuwait’s Armed Forces have written the finest examples of heroism, vigilance, sacrifice, and selflessness in fulfilling their duty to protect the skies, land, and assets of the homeland with professionalism and courage. They rely on high-level training, high morale, and a firm doctrine that recognizes Kuwait’s security as a trust that must not be compromised, and that Kuwait itself is a homeland living in our hearts, not merely land upon which we live. They are prepared to give their dearest possessions for its safety and stability. Kuwait’s Armed Forces will remain the impregnable shield that protects the homeland and defends its sovereignty, regardless of the challenges or the extent of the sacrifices required.

As for the men of the Ministry of Interior, they are, as always, the watchful eye that preserves security and reassures citizens and residents. They are deployed everywhere to regulate movement, secure facilities, and protect lives and property, affirming that Kuwait’s security is a national responsibility they shoulder alongside their brothers in every field and arena, discharging it with utmost sincerity, integrity, and honor.

In parallel, the National Guard continues to fulfill its noble mission of protecting strategic facilities and supporting military and security agencies, embodying the highest standards of discipline, sacrifice, and integration among state institutions. Meanwhile, the General Fire Directorate personnel lead the front lines in confronting any fire or emergency resulting from Iran’s unjust and malicious attacks, exposing themselves to danger to save lives and protect property, in a shining example of unparalleled generosity, bravery, and courage.

If you turn your attention to hospitals and health centers, you will find doctors, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff in the Ministry of Health continuing their humanitarian and national duties with diligence, energy, and vitality. They stand ready to receive emergency cases and provide medical care to those in need with competence, compassion, and capability, affirming that the medical profession is a message of life, and that they are permanently prepared to work day and night under the most difficult conditions to heal the wounded and treat those targeted by treachery while at their workplaces.

If this is the conduct of the military, firefighters, and the angels of mercy in hospitals and health centers, then the workers in the Ministry of Electricity and Water and the oil sector deserve every appreciation and respect. They work tirelessly to maintain essential services, secure energy and water sources, and repair any damage resulting from the brazen, cowardly attacks on generation and desalination plants. They understand that the continuity of these services is a cornerstone of societal resilience, which Kuwaitis of all sects and categories reaffirm daily as being of one heart and mind in facing the criminals and repelling them in defeat.

As for us, the people, in schools, institutes, and universities, in offices, shops, streets, and markets, in homes, public and private institutions, and in gatherings and diwaniyas, we have a duty to perform within our respective spheres: to recognize that this phase requires all of us to remain calm and confident, to adhere to official instructions, and to ignore rumors or misleading news aimed at sowing fear and weakening the domestic front. Let everyone know that accurate information is a responsibility, and that national awareness is the first line of defense against every pitiful attempt and desperate aggression aimed at destabilizing security and diverting the people from their noble goal of safeguarding the homeland and keeping its flag flying high on the mast of time for years to come.

The Kuwaiti people, known throughout history for their cohesion, unity, generosity, and resilience, are today more than ever called upon to stand firm, unite, support state institutions, and stand behind the Armed Forces, security agencies, and all frontline workers, serving as their support, aid, backing, and strength. The homeland is not protected by one group over another, but by the unity of its people, the loyalty of its sons, their trust in their leadership, and their belief that Kuwait will remain, God willing, impervious to anyone attempting to undermine its security and stability.

A deserved salute to every hand gripping a weapon and aiming it at the missiles and drones of the enemies who plot against us. A deserved salute to every Kuwaiti who performs his duties, fully aware that he is on one of the frontiers protecting the homeland and defending its security, stability, and territorial integrity.

It goes without saying that we must loudly declare that every Kuwaiti should bow in respect and reverence to the hunters of hostile missiles and drones, those whose sacrifices history will record in letters of light, recounting them as men, sons of men, and grandsons of men. Thanks to God Almighty, and then through their sincere efforts, Kuwait will remain safe, secure, strong, proud, and impregnable, due to the unity of its people and the resolve of its men, no matter how fierce the winds or how severe the storms.

May God protect Kuwait, its Amir, government, and people, from all harm and evil. May He guard the black-uniformed soldiers of our Armed Forces, the men of the Interior, the National Guard, the General Fire Directorate, the Ministry of Health, and the workers in electricity, water, and oil, as well as all who faithfully serve this beloved, noble homeland, which will never yield, and whose dignity and pride will only grow stronger with every challenge.

Finally, we recall the words of God, the Exalted: "O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful." (Quran 3:200)
