Our wise government... thank you!
Finally, the long-awaited law regulating the establishment and management of places of worship has been issued. This legislation aims to curb the rampant chaos created by Islamist parties, which have transformed places of worship from spiritual centers where God is worshipped into political hubs for recruiting naive youth, deceiving them, and manipulating their emotions to replace their loyalty to their homelands—referred to by the party’s henchmen as “idols”—with allegiance to these parties and their alternative homelands. These groups seek to instill hatred for other religions and sects within society, teach violence, and send their followers to the farthest corners of the earth to kill others, be killed, or be captured. The parties then strive to secure their release so they can return to Kuwait with hands stained with the blood of innocents, continuing to spread extremist and violent ideologies.

During the eras of extremism, radical thinking, and terrorism that we have endured, pulpits in places of worship were exploited to insult followers of other religions and sects, comparing them to animals, via microphones heard by adherents of those faiths, including righteous citizens and residents. This occurred while turning a blind eye to the reality that those who occupied us yesterday and those who transgress against us today are Muslims. Meanwhile, those who liberated us yesterday and who currently supply us with weapons to intercept incoming missiles and drones intent on our destruction are benevolent, non-Muslim allies. In this context, preachers instill hatred toward Gulf brothers and Arab friends, such as Egypt and Jordan, as well as international allies, particularly the United States, in service of suspicious agendas. The ultimate goal is to leave our country exposed to enemies, a hidden and unspoken objective aimed at destroying our nation, just as every country where ideological parties intervened in its affairs was reduced to ruins. Ask ten Arab countries that are still burning due to these destructive ideological parties, and add six Gulf states and Jordan, which are targeted by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)—another ideological party with the intent to destroy them and annex them to the rest of the Arab countries devastated by the IRGC.

The final point:
1. In the past, some places of worship were exploited, becoming associated with the name of the ideological party they serve, to collect and plunder funds from charitable donors. We witnessed extreme wealth among party members who accumulated these unmonitored funds over long periods. On the other hand, the remaining funds rarely go toward charitable causes or meeting the needs of the poor and needy in Kuwait and abroad. Instead, they are mostly directed to ideological parties to purchase voters’ support and to fund their armed and terrorist organizations, which wreak havoc and spread corruption in other countries.
2. Had this law been issued 30 years ago, Kuwait’s trajectory would have changed drastically. We would not have been subjected to the control of ideological parties that have sown division, discord, and conflict in society, hindered development, failed to create alternatives to oil, and attempted to overthrow legitimacy during the suspicious Arab Spring of 2011.
