Brotherhood Meeting
His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, yesterday received His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, on the occasion of his fraternal visit to the country. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged cordial remarks reflecting the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, as well as ways to support and develop these ties across various fields and all levels. They emphasized the importance of expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in a manner that serves their common interests. The latest developments on the regional and international scenes were also discussed, with a focus on developments in the Middle East region, and views were exchanged on these matters.
Their Highnesses affirmed the support of both countries for all initiatives, efforts, and endeavors aimed at establishing foundations of peace, security, and stability in the region. The meeting also addressed key issues of common Gulf interest and reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening unity of position and the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to realize the aspirations of their peoples for further development and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah were among those who welcomed him upon arrival at the airport.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and the accompanying delegation departed Kuwait yesterday following the fraternal visit. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah was among those who saw him off at the airport.
The delegation accompanying His Highness included His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Interior; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Court for Private Affairs; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President; and a number of senior officials from the United Arab Emirates.
