The Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, Sheikh Engineer Hamad Al-Mubarak, held talks with Morocco’s Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kyuh, on prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation and advancing joint relations in the civil aviation and air transport sectors between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Morocco.

In a statement to KUNA, Al-Mubarak said that the discussions, held within the framework of his official visit to Rabat, aimed to establish a practical framework for developing current air operations between the two countries, with a focus on opening new avenues to stimulate air cargo traffic and freight flows, thereby serving the mutual economic interests of both sides.

He added that the talks also addressed the possibility of launching direct flights by Royal Air Maroc to Kuwait as a strategic step that would bring about a qualitative leap in supporting air transport movements and facilitating passenger travel, in addition to its pivotal role in stimulating investment partnerships and revitalizing tourism exchanges.

On the multilateral cooperation front, both sides stressed the importance of aligning views and positions in international organizations concerned with civil aviation, affirming that continued close coordination between the competent authorities in both countries constitutes a fundamental pillar for building a sustainable partnership that meets the aspirations of the leaderships and brotherly peoples of both nations.
