The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on several areas in the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as its attempts to target civilian objects and critical infrastructure, most recently the launch of two ballistic missiles toward the city of Riyadh. These acts constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
In a statement issued today, Sunday, the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s unequivocal rejection of these despicable and cowardly attacks, which represent a serious escalation and a direct threat to civilian lives, while undermining regional stability.
Kuwait reiterated its absolute solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support for all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security and stability, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
