Two French student unions have called for the closure of high schools and universities on Tuesday and Thursday, demanding that the government reform the education system and improve study conditions.
Sabrine Kharbouch, a spokesperson for the “Student Union,” told journalists during a protest march in Paris on Saturday, “We will close our universities and high schools on Tuesday, and we will repeat this on Thursday, before joining the demonstration scheduled for November 5, which has been called for by workers and trade unions.”
