Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mushaan conducted an inspection visit on Thursday to the Mishref wastewater pumping station to monitor ongoing operations and verify its readiness and safe operation at full capacity.
Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the tour, Al-Mushaan stated that the Mishref station is a vital facility serving a large number of residential areas, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to field-level monitoring of its readiness to ensure uninterrupted service in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
During the visit, she toured the station’s facilities and operational systems and listened to a detailed briefing from the technical team on operational procedures, safety protocols, and the efficiency and capacity of the pumps and equipment to operate at full capacity.
Accompanying Al-Mushaan during the visit were Acting Deputy Minister of Public Works Kifaya Al-Najdi, Director General of the General Administration of Health Engineering Affairs Engineer Anwar Al-Balushi, along with the specialized technical staff responsible for operating the station.
