Saudi Federation Delegation Inspects 'Super Cup' Facilities in Kuwait

A delegation from the Saudi Arabian Football Federation inspected several sports facilities designated for the Saudi Super Cup, in a field visit to assess the readiness of venues and arrangements for hosting the 13th edition of the tournament in Kuwait from December 19 to 23 next year.

Kuwait is hosting the Saudi Super Cup for the first time, with participation from Al-Nassr, Al-Khaleej, Al-Ahli, and Al-Qadsiah clubs, following the signing of an official partnership agreement for hosting between the “Al-Rai Media Group Alliance” and “Aayan Leasing and Investment Company” with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, represented by its exclusive commercial partner “SMC Vibes” – the Saudi Media Group.

The delegation was received by Khaled Salah Al-Sayer, CEO of “Al-Rai Global Advertising” and Director of the Saudi Super Cup – Kuwait Edition, and Wael Mohammed Al-Qatami, First Deputy Head of Operations at “Aayan” and Deputy Director of the tournament, along with several officials from the Public Authority for Youth and Sports.

The tour included the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium and training facilities, as part of monitoring technical and organizational preparations. The delegation expressed satisfaction with what they observed during the visit, particularly at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, after reviewing completed works and verifying the readiness level of various venues related to hosting matches.

The delegation inspected the pitch and main facilities of the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, including stands, changing rooms, areas designated for teams and referees, as well as Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technical rooms, media facilities, live television broadcast coverage, entry and exit routes, parking areas, transportation, and organizational services related to spectator reception.
