Ministry of Education Participates with Five Students in International Physics Olympiad in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that five of its students will participate in the International Physics Olympiad, hosted by Uzbekistan from October 10 to 17, in an effort to encourage scientific excellence, motivate students to compete in international events, and acquire knowledge and scientific expertise.

In a press statement, the Ministry said that the student delegation participating in the Ahmed Al-Farghani International Physics Olympiad includes Sara Mirza from the American Creativity Academy, Ali Ismail and Abdulhamid Ali from the British School in Kuwait, Bushra Al-Qanaei from Fatima Al-Sarwa Secondary School under the Hawalli Education Zone, and Jassem Al-Sallal from Sulaiman Abu Ghoush Secondary School under the Capital Education Zone.

The Ministry noted that the delegation will be accompanied by Dr. Waleed Al-Anzi, the Physics Supervisor, and Ms. Clotho Malak, who will oversee the students, monitor their participation in the Olympiad competitions, and provide the necessary support and guidance throughout their stay and involvement in this international scientific event.

The Ministry expressed its sincere wishes for the participating students’ success and achievement of outstanding results that reflect their scientific capabilities and elevate the name of the State of Kuwait on the international stage. It reaffirmed its pride in its students and its confidence in their ability to deliver an honorable participation that showcases their promising potential and talents.

The Ministry emphasized its continued commitment to identifying and nurturing outstanding student talents, providing opportunities that help develop their scientific and intellectual capacities, thereby contributing to preparing a generation capable of competition and innovation, and enhancing the State of Kuwait’s standing in scientific and educational fields at both the regional and international levels.
