Minister of Public Works: Continue Inspections to Monitor Road Maintenance and Ensure Completion According to Specifications and Timelines

Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan confirmed today, Friday, that field inspections of road maintenance sites across various governorates will continue to monitor progress, ensure that work is carried out and completed in accordance with approved standards and the specified timeline.

This statement came during a press briefing following her inspection of ongoing maintenance works in the Al-Nuaim area of the Al-Jahra Governorate, as part of her field visits, which recently included observing asphalt paving operations in the Al-Fanitees area of the Farwaniya Governorate (Mubarak Al-Kabeer), where she reviewed the progress and stages of implementation.

Minister Al-Mashaan stated that the maintenance works in the Al-Nuaim area are part of the Ministry’s plan to maintain roads across all regions of the country, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the road network and strengthen the safety of its users.

She emphasized that engineering teams continue to monitor works on-site at all locations until their completion, adding that “field supervision remains ongoing in all governorates, and adherence to quality standards and deadlines are non-negotiable criteria.”
