Kuwait and Spanish Foreign Ministries Hold Sixth Round of Political Consultations

The Kuwaiti and Spanish ministries of foreign affairs held the sixth round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday that Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan led the Kuwaiti delegation, while Spanish State Secretary for Global Affairs Diego Martínez Peláez headed the Spanish side.
The statement clarified that the consultations addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, alongside exploring ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various fields, and to broaden their horizons. It also discussed the latest developments and trends on both the regional and international fronts.
According to the statement, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint cooperation, as well as exchanging views on various issues, in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
