Education Ministry Reaffirms Commitment to Direct Communication with Educational Sector and Addressing Teachers' Feedback

The Ministry of Education confirmed today, Wednesday, its commitment to strengthening direct communication with the educational field, listening to the feedback of teachers and female teachers, and addressing it with utmost care and responsibility.

In a statement, the Ministry also emphasized its dedication to continuing its approach of opening communication channels with personnel in the educational field, which contributes to addressing concerns, clarifying adopted procedures and regulations, and enhancing cooperation and understanding to serve the stability of the educational process and the public interest.

It stated that following the issuance of decisions regarding the redistribution of teachers, female teachers, and holders of educational supervisory positions in schools, a group of teachers and female teachers visited the Ministry building today to inquire about the decisions and express their observations regarding them.

The Ministry clarified that relevant officials met with a group of attending teachers and female teachers, listened to their observations and inquiries concerning the redistribution decisions, and clarified the associated procedures and regulations. It reaffirmed that all submitted observations and appeals would be studied and reviewed in accordance with established frameworks and regulations.

The Ministry expressed its high appreciation for teachers and female teachers, recognizing them as the educators of generations and the cornerstone of the educational process. It commended their efforts and dedication in serving students and affirmed that the Ministry’s doors and officials remain open to listening to their feedback and addressing it with full care and responsibility.

It noted that teachers and female teachers serve as educational role models for students, carrying a professional and educational responsibility that relies on handling various situations and decisions well, and expressing observations and demands in a responsible manner befitting the status and mission of teachers, through established channels and procedures that ensure feedback is heard and reviewed with transparency and objectivity.

The Ministry also indicated that it had opened an electronic channel for submitting appeals against the redistribution decisions, enabling affected individuals to submit their appeals, state their reasons, and follow up without the need for paper-based visits. It confirmed that all submitted requests would be studied and reviewed with transparency and objectivity, in accordance with established regulations and standards, ensuring fair treatment for each case.

The Ministry stressed that the redistribution decisions were part of a plan aimed at addressing disparities in the distribution of educational and supervisory staff among schools, achieving greater justice and balance in workforce allocation based on the actual needs of the field. This aims to enhance school stability, improve the efficiency of the educational process, and ensure that staff are directed to locations with the greatest need.

It added that the goal uniting all personnel in the educational field, regardless of their positions and responsibilities, is to serve students and advance education in the State of Kuwait. The teacher is a fundamental partner in achieving this goal. The Ministry stated that it would continue to listen to the educational field and address concerns within regulatory frameworks, thereby serving the public interest, safeguarding the rights of workers, and supporting the stability of the educational process.

The statement concluded by reaffirming that “everyone works from their position to serve Kuwait and its people, and the success of any reformative step relies on cooperation and understanding, and prioritizing educational interests to achieve a stable and fair school environment, ultimately serving the learner and the quality of education.”
