In Presence of Crown Prince and Swiss President, Direct Investment Promotion Authority Signs MoU with Swiss Global Entity

In the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, and His Excellency President Guy Parmelin, President of the friendly Swiss Confederation, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on “Promoting Direct Investment” between the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Swiss Global Enterprise (SGE) was held this morning at the Bellevue Palace in Bern, the Swiss capital. The ceremony aimed to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden the horizons of joint cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Swiss Confederation.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of the Kuwaiti side by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of KDIPA, and on behalf of the Swiss side by Ms. Magali Hero, Chief Executive Officer for Investment Promotion and Member of the Executive Board of SGE, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

This Memorandum reflects the commitment of the State of Kuwait and the Swiss Confederation to develop frameworks for economic and investment cooperation and to enhance partnership in areas of mutual interest, thereby supporting direct investment opportunities, achieving mutual benefits, and consolidating the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
