Kuwait strongly condemns and denounces continued incursions by occupation officials and settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and rejection of the continued incursions by officials of the Israeli occupation authorities and a group of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, under the protection of occupation forces, in a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Monday, the Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s unequivocal rejection of repeated assaults on the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and its religious and historical significance, noting that such acts provoke the sentiments of millions of Muslims worldwide. It also condemned statements by Israeli occupation officials regarding the annexation of areas in southern Lebanon and others in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s firm and steadfast position supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
