The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources announced on Sunday that its Information Systems Center has completed the implementation of an electronic messaging system for all of the Authority’s correspondence. This initiative aims to develop the institutional work environment, enhance digital transformation, and improve the governance of administrative procedures.
In a press statement, the Authority said the system enables the electronic management and circulation of correspondence among its various sectors and departments, thereby accelerating the workflow, boosting operational efficiency, enhancing the accuracy of transaction documentation, facilitating tracking, and reducing reliance on paper-based communications.
The Authority clarified that this step aligns with the directives and support of State Minister for Development and Sustainability Dr. Reem Al-Faleh to accelerate digital transformation within entities under her supervision and to develop procedures in accordance with the principles of governance, transparency, and efficiency. These efforts aim to raise the quality of institutional performance and strengthen oversight and accountability.
The Authority emphasized that the completion of the electronic messaging system represents one phase of a comprehensive plan to update digital systems and services within the Authority. It noted that work will continue to develop and integrate systems to simplify procedures, reduce documentation cycles, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The Authority commended the efforts of the Information Systems Center and all sectors and departments that contributed to the project’s completion, reaffirming its commitment to implementing digital transformation initiatives in line with the state’s direction toward a more efficient and sustainable government.
