Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, Receives Grand Duke of Luxembourg in New York

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, along with his best wishes for the Grand Duke’s good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and its friendly people.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and ways to develop them to serve the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. It also covered the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Sheikh Jraih Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and H.E. Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
