Deputy Emir and Prime Minister Receives Polish President at Kuwait's UN Mission Headquarters in New York

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received today His Excellency Mr. Karol Nawrocki, President of the Republic of Poland, and the accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting took place at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.

His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and extended best wishes for robust health to the President, as well as continued progress and prosperity for the friendly Republic of Poland and its people.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Poland, as well as ways to develop them in the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. The parties also reviewed key developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Jaraah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; Major General Ahmed Al-Duai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office; and H.E. Counsellor Abdullah Al-Obeidi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Ministerial Affairs.
