Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Meets Turkish President on the Margins of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly

Representing His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the beloved Amir of the State, may God protect and preserve him, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, may God protect him, met today with His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the friendly Republic of Turkey, at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Turkey to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect him, conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the beloved Amir of the State, may God protect and preserve him, to His Excellency, along with his best wishes for his good health and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Republic of Turkey and its friendly people.

The meeting included discussions on the close bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Turkey, as well as ways to enhance and develop these relations in various fields to serve the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. The latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest were also discussed.

Attending the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; His Excellency Ambassador Sadiq Mohammed Maarefi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organizations Affairs; and His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Mohammed Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
