Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir of the State, Meets with the King of Jordan and the Crown Prince on the Margins of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly
Representing His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the beloved Amir of the State, may God protect and preserve him, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, may God protect him, met today with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, at His Majesty’s residence in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect him, conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the beloved Amir of the State, may God protect and preserve him, to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, along with his best wishes for their good health and well-being, and for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its brotherly people continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting also included discussions on the historic and solid fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and ways to enhance and develop these relations to serve the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples, in addition to reviewing the latest regional and international developments.
Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jraih Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; Brigadier General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince; and Ambassador Abdullah Nasser Al-Obaidi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office.
