Beijing confirms that Xi Jinping will visit the United States this week and hold talks with Trump

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Monday that President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States from Wednesday to Friday, during which he will hold talks with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The ministry said in a statement, “At the invitation of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States from September 23 to 25.”
