The Amir's Representative, His Highness the Crown Prince, meets the President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly on the sidelines of the High-Level Week

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, met today with H.E. Dr. Khalil Al-Rahman, President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, to the UN General Assembly President.

The Crown Prince extended his congratulations to the President on assuming the presidency of the current session of the UN General Assembly, affirming Kuwait’s full support for the presidency’s efforts to enhance cooperation among member states and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting also discussed several items on the agenda of the 81st session, as well as key international issues.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Sadiq Muhammad Ma’arifi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organizations Affairs; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and H.E. Lieutenant General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
