Al-Suifan: Kuwait to host the largest legal conference of its kind at the "Global Summit of Innovative Lawyers"

Khalid Al-Soufan, Secretary-General of the Kuwait Bar Association, confirmed that the Association is preparing to hold the Second Kuwaiti Advocacy Conference under the slogan “Innovative Lawyers Global Summit” on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel – Al-Raiya Hall. The event aims to become the largest legal conference of its kind, characterized by extensive international participation and specialized legal and technological expertise.

Al-Soufan explained that the conference aligns with the Association’s vision to develop the legal profession and keep pace with the rapid global transformations in the legal sector, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, legal technology, digital justice, electronic arbitration, cybersecurity, and the development of legal research and drafting tools.

He added that the coming phase requires preparing lawyers capable of leveraging future-oriented tools and technology while preserving the independence, ethics, and confidentiality of the attorney-client relationship. He noted that the conference will bring together participants from more than 50 countries, along with a distinguished group of speakers, specialists, and legal and technological entities.

Al-Soufan stated, “We aim to position the Kuwaiti Advocacy Conference as an international platform launching from Kuwait to discuss and shape the future of the profession, amid the world’s rapid transformation in legal work tools, litigation methods, and legal services.”

He emphasized that the conference represents a continuation of the initiatives under the Lawyer Vision 2028 and reflects the role of the Kuwait Bar Association in enhancing the professional and legal environment and strengthening Kuwait’s presence on the map of international legal conferences.
