Minister of Social Affairs discusses with Ukrainian Ambassador to Kuwait enhancing bilateral cooperation

On Thursday, Dr. Umthil Al-Hawaili, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, met with Dr. Maksym Vyb, the Ukrainian Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of social affairs and child protection.

In a press statement, Al-Hawaili affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian role in supporting and protecting populations affected by disasters and wars, in line with the country’s established approach to humanitarian work.

The statement noted that the meeting addressed several issues of mutual interest, foremost among them social affairs and child protection. It added that both sides also discussed a number of proposals for further study and exploration of cooperation avenues that would yield positive outcomes for both countries, alongside examining the possibility of coordinating cooperation in the field of social affairs.
