Al-Tatbiqi confirms readiness to welcome 56,000 students tomorrow

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) confirmed the completion of its readiness and preparations to welcome approximately 56,000 male and female students on Sunday, as the new 2026/2027 academic and training year begins across its various colleges, institutes, and sites.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, the Authority explained that its preparations covered all academic, technical, administrative, and service-related aspects, alongside maintenance, equipping, and enhancing the readiness of facilities, laboratories, and sports infrastructure. These efforts aim to ensure a safe, integrated educational and training environment and an organized launch for the new academic and training year.

The statement noted that PAAET Director General Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam has been overseeing the readiness preparations and inspecting the latest preparations across various Authority sectors. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts and providing all necessary requirements to welcome students and ensure the continuity of the educational and training process from the first day.

Readiness measures encompassed five applied colleges and eight training institutes, along with the completion of civil, electrical, and technical maintenance works. Laboratories, sports facilities, and theaters were equipped, while scholarships dormitories were maintained and the infrastructure for security cameras was finalized.

The Authority completed the readiness of security, safety, and fire-fighting systems across all its sites, continuing coordination with relevant authorities to organize traffic and vehicle movement, thereby enhancing the safety of students and Authority staff.

Regarding support services, the Authority announced the provision of 246 buses for student transportation, including buses designated for persons with disabilities, as well as round-the-clock transportation services for scholarship students.

The Authority stated that the completion of these preparations reflects its commitment to providing all elements necessary for success in the new academic and training year, improving the quality of services offered to students, supporting the continuity of the educational and training process, and enhancing the Authority’s readiness to fulfill its mission efficiently and effectively.
