State of Kuwait condemns in the strongest terms the illegal entry of the occupation prime minister into Syrian territory

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strongest condemnation of the illegal entry of the Israeli occupation prime minister into the territory of the sister Arab Republic of Syria, a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and a blatant breach of international law. In a statement issued today, Thursday, the Ministry stressed that the continued incursions and attacks by the Israeli occupation within Syrian territory constitute an escalation that undermines security and stability in the region. The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s full support for the independence and sovereignty of the sister Arab Republic of Syria over all its territories, and emphasized the necessity for the Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities to halt these attacks and ensure compliance with relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, while reaffirming the imperative to respect the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
