14 killed in explosion at weapons and war remnants warehouse in northwestern Syria

Fourteen people were killed in an explosion at an arms and war debris warehouse in Idlib, northwestern Syria, according to the provincial health directorate, with the cause of the blast remaining unclear. The incident marks the second of its kind in roughly ten days.
The Idlib health directorate reported that the casualty toll from the explosion of a temporary storage facility for weapons and war debris near the city of Sarmada stood at “14 dead and 11 injured, in a preliminary count.” Meanwhile, the media and communications department of the Ministry of Defense stated that the explosion resulted in “a number of injuries among ministry employees.”
