Ukraine condemns "horrific attack" on Kyiv following departure of US envoys

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned on Tuesday the “horrific attack” launched by Russia on Kyiv overnight, following the conclusion of a visit by two U.S. envoys aimed at reviving diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
Sybiha wrote on X, “Shortly after the departure of the U.S. President’s peace envoys, (Russian President Vladimir) Putin launched a new, wide-ranging, and horrific attack on Kyiv, causing damage to residential neighborhoods and killing at least two people,” adding that “his ballistic missiles speak louder than his rhetoric on diplomacy.”
