Civil Defense: Closure and alert of 74 non-compliant facilities in Shuwaikh Industrial

The General Fireforce carried out an inspection campaign today, Monday, in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area of the Capital Governorate, resulting in the administrative closure of facilities and the issuance of notices and warnings against 74 establishments that violated fire safety and prevention regulations.

In a statement, the Fireforce said the campaign was conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, with the aim of identifying non-compliant buildings and establishments.

It clarified that the measures taken against the establishments were due to their failure to meet the requirements set by the General Fireforce, as well as those of the participating government authorities.
