Ministry of Education: "Balagh" program responds to over 8,000 reports, representing 65% of total reports
The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that the “Bugl” program in schools had received approximately 8,602 reports as of that day, representing 65 percent of the total reports received by the program, which aims to identify any observations or needs and address them urgently before the start of the new academic year.
In a statement, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Hamad Al-Hamad emphasized the necessity of treating observations and needs with urgency during this phase, and enhancing integration and coordination with maintenance and services departments and relevant authorities in various educational districts to support rapid response to field needs and complete remaining works according to the actual priorities of each school before welcoming students.
The ministry clarified, according to the statement, that the program contributed to linking schools, educational districts, readiness teams, and relevant sectors within a unified electronic system that begins with recording an observation or need at the school level, referring it directly to the competent authority, following up on the measures taken regarding it, completing the required works, and closing the report.
It noted that readiness teams and relevant authorities monitored through the program during the summer vacation more than 13,000 reports related to civil and electrical maintenance works, air conditioning units, water coolers, school cleanliness, as well as the supply of textbooks, school and office furniture, and other readiness requirements.
It added that 8,602 reports had been completed and resolved, representing 65.2 percent of the total incoming reports, while work is ongoing on approximately 20.5 percent of the reports, plus 14.3 percent representing new reports that are being processed.
It confirmed the continuation of intensive follow-up and the intensification of efforts by sectors, readiness teams, and relevant authorities to complete pending reports and ongoing works, noting that activating “Bugl” during this phase enhances the speed of identifying and addressing needs, reinforces integration between the field and concerned sectors, and contributes to raising the level of readiness and completing necessary preparations to welcome learners with the launch of the 2026/2027 academic year.
