State of Kuwait condemns and denounces the reprehensible Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Jordan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks that struck early today against both the sister Kingdom of Bahrain and the sister Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. These attacks constitute a blatant violation of their sovereignty and a clear breach of the principles of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry emphasized the necessity of halting these escalatory practices, prioritizing de-escalation and dialogue, and adhering to the rules of international law and principles of good neighborliness, in order to safeguard the security and stability of the region and spare its peoples further tension and escalation.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Bahrain and the sister Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and its support for all measures undertaken by each to preserve their sovereignty, security, and stability.
