Dismissal of North Korea's Defense Minister

North Korea’s state media reported on Sunday that changes had been made to the country’s military leadership, including the dismissal of Defense Minister Ri Yong-ho.

The official Korean Central News Agency stated that Ri was dismissed and removed from leadership positions within the ruling party during a meeting held on Saturday, presided over by Kim Jong Un.
