Interior Ministry: 221 wanted persons and violators apprehended, 790 violations recorded in security campaign in Al-Mahbula area

The Ministry of Interior announced on Friday the apprehension of 221 wanted individuals and violators, and the recording of 790 traffic violations, during an extensive security operation carried out in the Mahboula area of Al-Ahmadi Governorate.
In a press statement, the Ministry said the operation was conducted in the presence of Al-Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, under the direct supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, and the Head of the Traffic and Operations Sector, Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Azmi.
It added that the operation resulted in the apprehension of 221 wanted individuals, comprising 109 persons wanted in connection with criminal and security cases, 62 individuals whose residency permits had expired, 31 persons unable to provide identification, and 11 persons in an abnormal condition, in addition to the arrest of eight individuals for possession of narcotics and alcoholic beverages.
The Ministry further stated that the operation led to the recording of 790 traffic violations and the seizure of nine wanted vehicles, noting that the necessary legal measures were taken against all apprehended individuals and they were referred to the competent authorities.
