His Highness the Amir of Kuwait dispatches a written message to the President of Korea, delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, concerning bilateral relations and current developments

His Highness the Amir of the State, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sent a written message to His Excellency President Lee Jae-myung, President of the friendly Republic of Korea, concerning the close historical ties linking the two countries and their peoples, ways to strengthen and develop these ties, as well as current developments in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that His Highness’s message was delivered by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jaraah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to his Korean counterpart, Cho Hyun, during a meeting held on Tuesday as part of the official visit to the Republic of Korea’s capital, Seoul.

The ministry added that the meeting reviewed the strong relations between the two friendly countries and reaffirmed the shared commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination across various fields and at all levels, thereby advancing bilateral relations to higher levels and serving the common interests of both sides.

It noted that both sides discussed regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the developments in the region and diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability.
