Minister of Health Discusses with the Lebanese Ambassador to Kuwait Ways to Enhance Cooperation in the Health Sector

Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi held talks today, Sunday, with Gadi Al-Khoury, the Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to the State of Kuwait, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health sector, medical training, exchange of expertise, support for scientific research, and development of health infrastructure.
In a press statement issued by the Ministry of Health, Minister Al-Awadi emphasized the ministry’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation ties with the Lebanese Republic and leveraging its expertise to develop health services and enhance the quality of medical care across various specialties.
He noted that this meeting is part of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to bolster international cooperation and develop the health sector in the State of Kuwait. For his part, the Lebanese ambassador, according to the statement, affirmed his country’s readiness to provide the latest medical technologies and services that would contribute to the development of the health sector in Kuwait.
Assistant Undersecretary for Foreign Health Services at the ministry, Dr. Hisham Kalander, attended the meeting.
