Health Ministry: Immediate action taken on limited electrical fire at Jaber Hospital; operations continue normally

The Ministry of Health announced on Friday that a limited electrical short circuit occurred Thursday evening in a computer in an administrative office at Jabir Al-Ahmad Hospital, away from healthcare service areas, causing smoke odor to spread to some patient wards.
In a statement, the ministry said the incident was handled and controlled immediately in accordance with approved safety and security procedures, with several patients temporarily relocated as a precautionary measure and returned after confirming the safety of the affected areas.
It added that Deputy Minister Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering and Projects Engineer Ibrahim Al-Naham, and Hospital Director Dr. Nida Al-Hasan monitored the procedures on the ground to ensure patient safety and operational continuity, with conditions returning to normal within a short period while health services continued normally and safely.
